Having suffered from dyslexia during childhood, Wenxin (Joanne Peh) completes her university studies with the love and support from her parents. She is determined to help disabled children lead a happy and normal life by becoming a social worker.
She is helping four disabled children who are facing a bleak future as their parents, trapped in a state of disillusion and facing their own problems, are not providing them enough love and support. Despite the knowledge that she is going against the tide, she still accepts the challenges for the sake of these families.
However, saddled with a stream of demoralizing setbacks, she finds herself being slowly pushed to the verge of collapse. Another blow comes as someone exposes her past medical condition in a bid to steal her boyfriend. At this time, her boyfriend and the children she has helped in the past quietly appear at her side to help her through this difficult time of her life...
